We will not be able to accommodate you with the driving license, passport's copy, scan, or any other document. Minor citizens (accompanied by an adult) require an original birth certificate or passport.
The cost of a bed in shared room includes a bed with a thick curtains, three shelves for personal belongings and a lamp, a spacious locker for personal belongings (free of charge), a large towel (70x140 cm), Wi-Fi. The guests may benefit from tea and sugar in the kitchen, reception 24/7, common areas of the hostel, daily cleaning, linen and towels and hair dryers.
We accommodate guests from 12 to 18 years old accompanied by a legal representative. According to the decree No.519 dated April 1, 2021. Minors from 14 to 18 years old can stay in the hostel without an accompanying person, but subject to the written consent of one of the legal representatives. Written consent must be accompanied by the signature of the parent/guardian, and a copy of his/her passport is required.
We never sleep! The reception is open around the clock, you can check-in, check-out, enter and exit at any time. All guests have a magnetic card key to the room, which opens the main door too. If for some reason you cannot enter using the key, ring the bell and we will open.
Accommodation with any animals is strictly prohibited, as it may provoke allergic reactions from other guests.
We will be happy to fulfill your wish if the specific place is available at the time of arrival. Booking a particular bed or place in a certain room is impossible, even in advance, since bookings arrive continuously and we do not always have the opportunity to shift other bookings to fulfill your request. The same applies to the lower or upper beds, we always try to accommodate guests according to their wishes, when it is possible, but we cannot guarantee that you will sleep in the lower or upper bed. You can leave a request in the comment box while booking, we will do our best to take it into account.
Yes we do have a luggage room so you will be able to store your bags before you check in or after your check out. Luggage storage service on other days costs 100 rubles per day for one piece. The maximum storage period is 2 weeks.
Yes, we have a spacious kitchen with everything needed for cooking. The kitchen is equipped with a spacious fridge (without a freezer), a microwave oven and a cooktop, powerful kitchen hoods, a dispenser with purified drinking water (hot and cold). Tea, sugar and salt are free and always available.
Yes, of course. Guests can use a separate laundry room with professional washing and drying machines. You can use your laundry detergent or buy our capsules. Laundry services are paid, but you can iron for free.
Linen and towels are changed every 5 days, if you want to change the entire set of linen or just one towel earlier, there is an extra charge.

The nearest metro station Chistye Prudy can be reached in 5 minutes, while Kitay Gorod metro station is 9 minutes' walk from the hostel.

The car entrance is at the black iron gate the entrance to the hostel is near the gate. Please ring the bell. Please be aware that the car traffic on Potapovsky Lane near our hostel is one-way (entrance from Sverchkov Lane is prohibited). If you are traveling by taxi and approaching from Sverchkov Lane, you can exit at the crossroads and walk along our building or ask the driver to drive around.
Yes, there is parking in the courtyard of the hostel. If you need a parking space, it must be booked and paid in advance. Parking fee is RUB 1000 per day. To book a parking space, please email us at msk@strawberry-duck.com, we will let you know if there are free places and send you a link to proceed with card payment. Even if your booking is paid upon arrival, parking must be paid in advance. If you do not need parking and you just want to enter by car and leave, it's free.
